Land Measurement Method is separate in different countries. There are two types of land measurement are used in writing land related document in Bangladesh. One is Sotangso and other is Katha. However, there is a relationship between these two. And that is one-hundredth of one-acre is called "one percent" or "one sotangso" of land (the most commonly used phrase is "one decimal land"). On the other hand, the bigger unit of Katha is "Bigha" and the higher unit Bigha is Acre. 20 Katha of land equal to one Bigha land and three Bighas equal to one Acre of land.
